Total Jobs a un employment website, born 20 years ago and working with a large range of partners to collect the maximum of job offers. They currently advertise 280 000 live job adverts.

We can particularly focus on the sectors “Tourism” and “Travel”, which are relevant for our interest.

It is possible to research using the term “Heritage”, not advertise on the list of sectors, since the website collects job offers under this title.

5) Linkedin

LinkedIn is Social network service available in 24 languages. It was founded in 2002 in California (USA), but has now offices in 23 other locations, including London.

The service operates via websites and mobile apps and is mainly used for professional networking, including employers posting jobs and job seekers posting their CVs. In October 2018, LinkedIn counted 590 million registered members in 200 countries, of which more than 250 million are active.

LinkedIn allows members (both workers and employers) to create profiles and “connections” to each other in an online social network which may represent real-world professional relationships. The heritage Alliance is not a proper employment website. It is about Archaeology, Arts, Heritage, History, Tourism… The Heritage Alliance, established in 2002 as Heritage Link, is the biggest alliance of heritage interests in the UK“The Heritage Alliance aims to advocate by identifying the overarching messages from our members and putting them across to opinion formers and decision makers in England.

The Alliance also aims to advocate broader issues such as the importance of heritage to national prosperity and wellbeing, alongside the importance of generating new thinking and dialogue on heritage issues. It aims to share by drawing on members’ experience and expertise to influence legislation, policy and guidance” .
